Day 42 – Mar. 19 Hong Kong, China (Day 2)

Hong Kong Waterfront from the Promenade

We got up early, ate breakfast and set off to the underground.  With a little help, we found the Hong Kong Mass Rapid Transit quite easy to navigate.  Our destination was only two blocks from the underground exit.  Again, we were there before the store opened but, again, there was excellent free WiFi.  When the store opened’ we were able to get Kevin’s hoodie and head back to the ship.

After lunch we decided to split up.  I (Randy), was going out to look for free WiFi in order to upload our pictures and narrative for several previous ports.  I found good WiFi at Pacific Roast Coffee but it was limited to thirty minutes.   Next I moved on to H&M Department store which had great WiFi that had no time limits.  I just sat in the hallway outside their store and got a lot of work done …

Meanwhile, Frances went for a walk on Hong Kong’s Promenade and got some excellent pictures of the waterfront …
